Xeonphotrix has a RolePlaying and world creation forum that needs writers and creationists. I need people to help me to create a massive fantasy world through 4 stages of the worlds life cycle which can then be used to RP settings, story settings etc.

Those sections are:

Creation: Set at the time when all hell is breaking lose on Xeonphotrix, Daemons and other assorted nasties are running amok and threaten to destroy the world unless SOMETHING is done! (Setting: Futuristic, maybe a bit cyber punkish. Think Shadowrun - ish.)

Past: Something mammoth happens in Creation and sets the world back to square one. The world has reverted back to its roots, and has become a classic swords and sorcery fantasy setting, where the world is being remade, old races have died out, new ones have been born and links and alliances must be made.

Present: Technology is nearing where it used to be, and the planet is on the cusp of making the first steps into space. BUT WAIT! Where the hell is all the fossil fuel powered stuff? Why is everything powered by Steam? Yea - classic electricity has been replaced by steam power, fantastic new technology enables computers, cars, planes and high speed trains to run on STEAM power! But, there are dark things afoot, underground whispering, cults and people speaking of the "Old ways" and their "Masters." 3000 years after Creation, are the Daemons about to return?

Future: The inhabitants of Xeonphotrix have headed for the stars, using their amazing steam powered rockets, but the residents of Xeonphotrix aren't the only ones in space, and they have the technology that Xeonphotrix used to have, and no matter how bad things are in space, the former Xeonphotrix residents don't seem too keen to return to their home planet, what could have happened that is keeping them away?

So far, we're looking a bit bare as far as members and actual world RP goes, but we do have 2/3 freestyle Play By Post rp's set up, two of which are going very well. A couple are in the beginning stages, with room for plenty more. Also - there is the RP School, teaching the basics on how to roleplay by post online, and it has generally well recieved.

This is an RPG set in 4 aspects of a worlds progress: Creation, Past, Present, Future.

Creation: Is set before a MASSIVE world war that completely wiped out almost EVERYTHING. It's a typical swords and sorcery style setting set in the middle of a war between Wizards and something. The RP is set through the ENTIRITY of the war, people can pick up small parts to play as they choose which will eventually culminate in a massive war that the people of Xeonphotrix have to win, at all costs.

Past: Set AFTER the war, and after almost all life in the world has been wiped out - chosen characters in this setting are the leaders, they're trying to get civilisation back on its feet. Chosen characters will be kings/queens, emperor's/empresses etc.
Past is a classic swords and sorcery rpg, but with magic slightly deadened and some things not invented. This section will focus a lot around building up relations, this rp essentially CREATES the world.

Present: Magic has it's potency restored, and with newer technology comes newer threats. Three factions/cults are devoted to bringing the world under their rule, and they will do ANYTHING to achieve it. One is a terrotist faction, one is a Cult of demon worshippers and necromancers and one (more frighteningly) is a mix of the two - Black Star.

In the Future Black Star is no longer multi-nationary - it's multi-planetary and has massive amounts of the universe under it's twisted hand... Except for a group of rebles who are frantically trying to bring them down. Magic, spaceships and alien races can all be found here.

Right now the RPG is still in it's very early stages, I have a helluva lot of work to do in terms of some world information I want to get down. But - this world cannot begin to take off with a member base. We're looking for immaginative, LITERATE writers for this project. No leet, no text speak... It'll be a grammar-nazi haven for the most part. Quality is what we're after.
